Janice E. Cain, age 64 of Delaware died unexpectedly Thursday morning, March 22, 2001 at her home.

She was born Sept. 20, 1936 in Columbus to the late James E. Martin and Edna Jones Carson. A lifelong Delaware County resident and graduate of Big Walnut High School. She had worked as a data entry specialist for PPG, Worthington Foods, State of Ohio, and also worked in the bakery dept. of Buehler’s Food Market. Member of Hyatts United Methodist Church, she enjoyed quilting, walking, collecting lighthouses and Indian items.

Survived by loving husband of 10 years: James Cain, Daughters: Christine (Gary) Helmick of Pataskala, Debra (Harold) Kennedy of Lebanon, VA, Kathleen (Billy) Alexander of Kingman, AZ, Son: Steven Lines of Philo, OH, Step-daughter: Candace (Tom) O’Keefe of Delaware, Step-sons: James Cain Jr. of Youngstown, Charles (Lynette) Cain of TX, Numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 3 Great-grandchildren, Brothers: Eugene Martin of Westerville, Paul Martin of Phoenix, AZ, Half-brother: Roger Carson of Phoenix, Sister: Betty Krienke of Phoenix, AZ.

Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St. (SR 36), Delaware. Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at Hyatts United Methodist Church, 6000 Liberty Rd. N., Powell, Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware.
