Helen Johnson, age 54, of Delaware passed away late Tuesday afternoon in the Heartland Care Center of Marysville. She was born March 1, 1954 in Paintsville, KY to William “”Bill”” Kirt and Jeannette (Dennis) Taylor. She was a mother of pure heart and giving. Helen had a smile that would last a lifetime and touch those she came into contact with. She always wanted to help those that she could. She was very accomplished in her life. She obtained a brown belt in Karate Tae Kwon Doe, Received a CDL license and traveled across the United States. At one time she appeared as a contestant on MTV. She touched many hearts and was a true fighter in her later stages battling cancer. She gave a hard fight for almost 2 years. She is survived by her children Angela T. Boger and Thomas Milum, two nephews Zachary and Trevor Boger, brothers Larry, James and Gary Arms. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Carol Sue Nichols. In keeping with her wishes, she has donated her body to science for cancer research in hopes of someday finding a cure. Friends will be received at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home on Saturday, December 20th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM. All are then invited to join the family in the Rodman Neeper Community Room for continued fellowship and remembrance.
