Harvey Coleman Shaughency, Jr., age 87, passed away following a brief illness on December 16, 2017.

He was born September 30, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA to parents Harvey Coleman, Sr. & Edith (Harper) Shaughency. A beautiful young lady named Elaine Burg caught his eye and the pair married in 1952. They were married for 59 years. Harvey worked in many different areas of the boating industry throughout his career.

He is survived by his daughters Colleen Shaughency, Sharon (Pat) Shook and Kathleen Shaughency (Doug Schilling and his children, William and Nicholas Schilling); grandchildren Justin Ortolf, Summer (Patrick) Wenzel and Ryan (Elizabeth) Wheeler; great-grandchildren Cayden Escola and Macey Wenzel; step-grandchildren Nicole Shook-Moya and Jennifer (Jeremy) Strong; and step-great-grandchildren Rori Moya, Cole Moya, Skyllar Strong, and Beckett Strong.

In addition to his parents and his brother, David Schaughency, Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Shaughency.
