Harriett C. Freeman, 91, of Galion died Sun., Aug 5, 2012 at her home.

She was born Oct. 8, 1920 in Norman, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Guy and Florence Moore Campbell. She was preceded in death on July 6, 2010 by her husband, Carl W. Freeman whom she married on Mar. 28, 1942.

She was a graduate of South Charleston High School in West Virginia and she received a Masters in Psychology from The Ohio State University.

She was a member of the former Grace Episcopal Church in Galion, where she was the choir director for many years and held numerous study groups in her home. She was a clinical counselor and supervisor of Occupational Services at Rehabilitation Services of North Central Ohio in Mansfield and also worked in private practice.

She is survived by one grandson, Kyle Robert Freeman of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Makyla, Destiny and Austin and also many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Carl Freeman, one brother and two sisters.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, Aug 18, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church in Galion, with Dan Everly, Elder officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
