Harold was thrifty and worked hard throughout his life to maintain a comfortable lifestyle and to enjoy traveling to many areas of our world. The winter of 1993 was especially trying for him as his mother passed away and on the way home from Florida the transmission went out and they had to travel at 20 miles an hour up Route 3 to Orville. At his mothers funeral the weather turned bad and they had to delay the burial due to the grave having been dug incorrectly at the cemetery.
