Gladys Lucile (Merwine) Ciraky

Gladys Lucile (Merwine) Ciraky, 88, of Delaware passed away Sunday afternoon April 3, 2016.
She was born August 19, 1927 in Marion, Ohio to the late Robert and Adaeline (Ensminger) Foust.
Gladys had attended the Grace Baptist Church, Church of Christ in Christian Union and the Salvation Army over the years. She was a member of the Upper Sandusky Navy Mother’s Club and the Delaware Salvation Army Home League and was a former member of the Upper Sandusky Rebekkah Lodge. She loved going to church, painting ceramics and reading mystery novels. She was also very proud of her family and her grandkids.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters Virginia (David) Jackson of Locust Grove, Georgia and Bonnie (William) Porter of Delaware; son Fred (Jean) Merwine of Cincinnati; six grandchildren Wesley, Freddie, Tim, Warren, Ken and Bill; sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Merwine, second husband Steve Ciraky, daughter Helen Marie Merwine, grandchildren Beth and Tonya; two brothers and one sister.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 6, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William Street, Delaware and where funeral services will follow on Thursday April , 2016 at 11:00 am with her grandson Rev. Warren Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
