Gertrude I. Aller

Gertrude I. Aller, 77, of Galion died Friday, Apr. 18, 2008 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Center in Galion after an extended illness.
Born Nov. 3, 1930 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Holderness and Stella Sprow Holderness.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1948 and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was financial secretary, sang in the choir and helped with Sunday School. She was a member of the Rural Mothers League and TOPS 1367. She was previously employed at Midland Service Agency and later for Tom Belding and Associates and later for Crawford County Children’s Services Board.
Surviving is one daughter, Barbara Young of Galion; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kathryn Aller of Iberia; seven grandchildren, Matthew Eaton, Daniel Eaton, Levi Aller, Mara Aller, Uriah Aller, Cherokee Aller and Ryle Aller; one sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Lewis Christman of Ft. Myers, Fla. and one brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Martha Holderness of Tenn.
She was preceded in death by one son, Matthew C. Aller.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 26, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 26, with Rev. Gary Nuss officiating. Interment will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
