Frances Elizabeth Poulson Taylor Flugge, age 88 of Sunbury, formerly Columbus, died Wednesday morning August 31, 2005 at Bennington Glen Nursing Center in Marengo.

She was born in Orient on July 31, 1917 the oldest of eleven children of the late Loyt and Melvah (Morain) Poulson. She was a longtime resident of Columbus and Grove City and a member of the former Morgan Memorial United Methodist Church and Parkview United Methodist Church. She was retired from the Circulation Dept. of Xerox. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling, especially her vacation in Europe. She also had a goal of visiting all 50 states and had accomplished all but 2.

Survived by Son: Wendell (Phyllis) Taylor of Sunbury; Daughters: Carole (Milton) Jordan of Johnstown and Nancy (James) Bailey of Pickerington; Grandchildren: Bruce (Vicki) Jordan, Eileen (Dale) Castle, Stephen Jordan, Suzanne McNamara, Paul (Leslie) Taylor, Lora (Bryon) Reid, Sara Taylor and Jamie Bailey; Great Grandchildren: Nick and Jessica Jordan, Brittany and Scott Hutchison, Shaunie and Samantha Castle, Daniel and Jacob McNamara, Tabitha and Ethan Taylor, Tyler and Cameron Reid and Caleb Bailey. Sister: Lelan (Pearl) Johnston of Richwood; Brother: Charles Poulson of Columbus. Stepchildren: Roberta (William) Conner, Randall, Rita and Perry Flugge. Step Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded by her first Husband: Raymond Paul Taylor; scond Husband: Eldon Flugge; Sisters: Helen Graham, Melba Poulson, Nina Poulson; Brothers: Russell, Robert, Orlo, Albert and baby boy Poulson.

Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. with Pastor John C. Brock officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
