  • Dearest Kathy, Peggy and all of the DeGray family.

I rejoice in the life that was Hal’s and what he was able to share with all of you. He had a special relationship with all that he was involved with and a genuine man to be sure. Our earthly human existence comes with joys and sorrow’s and this loss for your family is so deeply felt. I’m thankful he is now free of earthly bindings and no longer experiencing the short side of our existence. He will be with you always, he will live on in your hearts and through your stories of his life. His spirit was strong and his love will continue on with each of you. Hold fast to each other, as he loved you all as I know you loved him.

So sorry for the lost of your loved one. May God comfort and keep you in his hands. My prayers are going out to you and your family.

  • Peggy and family, Peg it was not too long ago that we were in PT rehab. together. Life certainly is short. We send our thoughts and prayers with you and your family. May the Lord be your comfort during this difficult time. Sincerely, Ted and Barb Stamper.

  • We tearfully offer our condolences to Peggy. I was a student at Jefferson Rural HS (Leesville) and was one year behind Hal in school. I still can picture the car he drove when he attended Heidelberg College in Tiffin; it was a 1951 Ford convertible. I can also remember his droll humor. He will be missed!
