Ericka Lynn Ell

August 24, 1987 ‒ September 05, 2016

Delaware, Ohio

Ericka Lynn Ell, 29, of Delaware went home to be with her grandmothers in the early hours of September 5, 2016.

She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Joanne & Gerald Lee Ell, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Margaret Richardson and a brother Christopher Richardson.

Ericka was born August 24, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio to Gerald L. Ell Jr. and Tonaya Richardson.

Everyone who came in contact with Ericka grew to love her. She was known for her up beat, blunt personality and contagious smile. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for someone in need. She was the type to give you the shirt off her back. Even during hard times, she kept a smile on her face. She enjoyed having fun, listening to music and being around friends. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her children.

She is survived in death by daughters, Nevaeh and Kylee Summer; son, Carter L. Hall; mother, Tonaya Richardson; father, Gerald L. Ell Jr.; brother, Cody Richardson; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Richardson and Fiancé Shawn M. Hall; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends also survive.

Ericka was loved by many and will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 12:00 (noon) at Oller Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will then be held at 2:30 pm at Blue Limestone Park.

Contributions in Ericka’s memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.

The Snyder Rodman Funeral Center of Delaware is honored to serve the Ell family.
