Ellis “Pee Wee” Workman

Ellis “PeeWee” Workman, 72, of Galion passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born March 23, 1947 in Freeburn, Kentucky and was the son of Herman and Mary (Wolford) Workman. Ellis is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joyce (Duncan) Workman, whom he married on November 19, 1977.

During his working career, he worked as a machinist for LL Metals. Ellis enjoyed reading Western books and loved his dogs, Jasmine and JJ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son James Workman of Galion; daughter Ellisa (Mickey) Mills of Galion; two grandchildren, Ashanea and William Mills and a half-brother Hubert (Ruby) Workman of Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Dewey Prater.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society serving Crawford County in care of the funeral home.
