Edna Katherine O’Hail

MANSFIELD: Edna Katherine O’Hail, 87, formerly of Glendale Blvd., died Monday evening July 28, 2003 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a long illness.
Edna was born August 24, 1915 in Nashville, Ohio to Charles and Louise (Remington) Edmiston and was graduated from Smithville High School with the Class of 1933. On October 20, 1934, she married Joseph O’Hail who preceded her in death in 1978. She and her husband moved to the Mansfield area from Wooster in 1938 and along with their eldest son established Richland Stone where she continued to work until her retirement four years ago.
A homemaker, she was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Joseph and Phyllis J. (Mecurio) O’Hail, Lanny and Sandy O’Hail, and Mark O’Hail all of Mansfield; eight grandchildren; 13 great grand children; and one great great granddaughter.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Gloria Rodgers and a brother Ross Edmiston.
A memorial service in celebration of Edna’s life will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday July 31, 2003 at First Assembly of God, 1000 McPherson Street, Mansfield. Pastor Ross Wiseman will officiate. Interment will be in Wooster Cemetery on Friday at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to First Assembly of God.
