Edith Ann Shaffer Mishey

BELLVILLE: Edith Ann Mishey, age 80, of Ankneytown Road, Bellville, died Monday morning February 19, 2001 in her home following a sudden illness.
She was born May 17, 1920 in Bellville to Stanton and Ocie Oberlin Shaffer, was graduated from Bellville High School and had been a lifelong Bellville area resident.
Mrs. Mishey had retired from Clear Fork Local Schools, where she worked as a school bus driver.
An avid bowler, Edith was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and Bellville Chapter #291 Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gary & Diane Mishey of Bellville; two grandsons Gary Jr. and his wife Jeanette Mishey of Navarre, FL, and Brian Mishey of Bellville; a sister Florence Huffman of Bellville; a brother and sister-in-law Maurice & Betty Shaffer of Fredericktown; and a brother-in-law Everett Spreng of Loudonville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles G. Mishey on June 12, 1997; two sisters Dorothy Bunfill and Martha Spreng and two brothers Harold Shaffer and Paul Shaffer.
Friends may call Sunday February 25, 2001 from 4-7 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Monday at 11 am. The Rev. Dr. Michael V. Stine will officiate. A horse-drawn hearse lead procession will follow to the burial site in Bellville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Jefferson Township-Bellville Rescue Squad may be made at the funeral home.
