Earl "Gene" Moody

Earl “Gene” Moody, 70, of Galion passed away early Friday morning, May 2, 2014 at his residence after an extended illness.
Born November 6, 1943 in Nodena, Arkansas, and was the son of Earl G. and Louise (Tillman) Moody. He married Dolores (Rigdon) Moody April 6, 2001 and she survives.
Gene was a handyman and worked doing construction and landscaping. He would give anybody the shirt off his back. He enjoyed his family and liked camping at Candlewood Lake.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Todd (Jill) Moody of Mansfield and Trent (Lisa) Moody of Galion; daughters, Terri Fisher, Tyrell (Jason) Dameron of Michigan, Traci Sina of North Dakota, Diana (Ron Selby) Gregory of Mansfield and Dawn Nunn of Galion; 18 grandchildren, Chris, Carly, Marc, Jared, Julian, Kirstin, Chloe, Mallory, Kayla, Kendall, Camille, Austin, Ashley, Michelle, Melissa, Ricky, Tara and Schaelynn and 10 great-grandchldren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John and Harold Moody and Jimmy Steve Moody; a sister, Donna Sonoqui and two grandchildren, Krystal Moody and Dillon Nunn.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel in Galion. At his family’s request, no funeral service will be held.
