Donna Ruth Chapman

Donna Ruth Chapman, 75, of Marion died Thursday evening, February 4, 2010 at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
She was born on November 14, 1934 in Marion, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Redmond) Jaggers.
A lifetime resident of the Marion community, Donna took great pride in her home and her children and grandchildren.
On September 30, 1967 she married Richard E. Chapman.
She was a member of the Marion Church of Christ in Christian Union where she was active in their sewing class. She also enjoyed quilting.
Donna loved her Gaither Gospel music and keeping up on “her boys”, the Buckeye basketball and football teams.
Donna was always on the go, and kept active by attending her grandchildren’s many sporting events.
In addition to her husband she will be missed by her three children Donald (Karen) Conley of Suffolk, Virginia, Diane (Dan) Weary of Prospect, Ohio and K. Michael (Linda) Hoch of Stephenville, Texas; four stepchildren Gary (Carol) Chapman of Marion, Sondra (Buck) McNeil of Marion, Linda (Dana) Ludwig of Richwood, and Tom (Annette) Chapman of Richwood; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister Barbara (Ray) Clark of Haines City, Florida.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her three brothers Bill, Dick, and Bob.
Friends may call on the family on Sunday February 7, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Marion Church of Christ In Christian Union, 1709 Bellefontaine Ave. Marion, Ohio 43302. Services celebrating her life will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor John Burr and Rev. David Glauner officiating. Burial will follow in Claridon Cemetery.
