Donald E. Jahn, 84, of Delaware passed away Saturday, March 31,, 2011, at his residence. Donald was born March 1, 1927 in Delaware County to Earl and Helen (Carr) Jahn. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post # 115. A lifelong Delaware County Resident he attended the Grace Brethren Church on Hills Miller Rd. In his younger years, he had a pilot’s license and enjoyed flying as well as boating and fishing with his family. Donald is survived by his wife, Jeanette; 2 daughters Donna (Terry) Williamson of Delaware and Valerie Evers of Sunbury; a son Thomas (Lupe) of Simi Valley, CA.; 2 step-daughters Sally (Kirk) Forsythe of Sardina, OH and Cindy (Eric) Fisher of Marysville; a step-son Scott (Karla)Fleming of Arlington, OH; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Mildred Case of North Fort Myers, Fl, and Laura Mitchell Washington Courthouse, OH; a brother Roy (Betty) Jahn of Clarkshills, SC. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Michael. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 3rd from 2:00 – 4:30 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware and on Monday, April 4th from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am at the Delaware Grace Brethren Church (375 Hills Miller Rd., Delaware).
