Dolores A. “Dolly” Torok

Dolores A. “Dolly” Torok, age 68 of Galena died Monday, December 28, 2009 at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville. She passed peacefully with her beloved family at her side. She was a breast cancer survivor of over 20 years when it resurfaced as bone cancer.
She was born on August 29, 1941 in New Kensington, PA to the late John C. and Ida (Shonesky) Drag. A sales manager in the bath and linens department for over 20 years at the former Northland Sears Department Store, Columbus, OH, she later worked for Home Depot before retiring.
Dolly was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and Sears Retiree Club. She enjoyed traveling, especially to visit with her children and grandchildren. One never to complain, she treasured her family and time spent at home. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm heart, her wonderful cooking and her exquisite stitcheries.
She was the loving wife of Stephen Torok, her husband of 48 years, devoted mother of Trisha (Bob) Bower of Navarre, FL, and Stephen A. Torok of Sunbury and devoted grandmother of Robert and Catherine Bower. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral mass will be held on Noon Saturday, January 2nd, at St. John Neumann Church, 9633 E. SR 37, Sunbury with FR. David Sizemore, celebrant. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home.
