Diana L. Lewis, 63, of Galion passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 surrounded by her family after a year-long illness.

Born October 3, 1956 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Sebert Sulser and Chloe Anna (Carpenter) Sulser who resides in Galion.

She was a graduate of Northmor High School and a member of the Wesley Chapel in Galion.  She was a member of the church board and small group leader at Wesley Chapel. In addition, Diana was active with the Local Emergency Planning Committee of Crawford County, Crawford County Suicide Prevention Coalition, Galion High School Band Parents and enjoyed bowling with her family, watching Ohio State sports, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and NASCAR. Diana worked in the Clerical Department at Community Counseling Services in Bucyrus.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughters, Chloeanna Marie Lewis of Galion and Samantha Lynn Lewis of Toledo; brothers, Samuel Andrew Sulser of Galion and Michael Eugene (Sharon Wilhelm) Sulser of North Robinson; sisters, Susan Marie Sulser of Galion and Sallie Ann Sulser of Galion.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Wesley Chapel, 260 Sixth Avenue, Galion, Ohio 44833, with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will be at Iberia Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to, Wesley Chapel, National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, or to the family in care of the funeral home.
