  • Danny and I both met at Smith Elementary school. We continued on through the Delaware school system. Every time I saw Danny he was always smiling. He was a kind and gentle man. Recently, we kept in touch on Facebook and I always enjoyed following the pictures and comments he posted about Disney World. Most of these photos featured his wife, Julie and the many races she ran in. Clearly, Danny was extremely proud of her accomplishments.
My heart goes out to Julie and his brothers. Prayers are extended to them knowing God will provide peace and comfort to them in the days and months ahead.

  • You Juli and the entire Dennis family have my dearest sympathy. I met Danny at Willis during our 8th grade. He was a super nice person. I had the pleasure of reconnecting with him at our 35th year class reunion where he took great pride in introducing me to his beautiful wife. I followed him on Facebook enjoying the photos he posted of trips and the runs Juli completed. Our loss on earth is Heaven’s gain.

  • Julie. I am so sorry for your loss.
    We all will miss Danny.
Danny and I met in the 6th grade and became lifelong friends.
He always had the greatest sense of humor.
One of our favorite things to do was to try to get lost in Columbus. Always after midnight. The rule was we could not ask for directions. It sometimes took hours to get home.
We were all very happy when Danny and Julie met and I was honored to be best man in their wedding.
Danny was a Paul bearer for my mother when she passed.
Later in life he spoiled my daughter when she came along.
    We had many good times.
    Danny was a great friend.
    I will miss Danny.

  • Danny was a close friend of my dad’s for most of their lives. He always brought a happy attitude and shared compelling and often hilarious stories.

When I was a kid, Danny was at our house often and spoiled me with gifts and surprises, always with that big smile on his face. I have many happy memories of him tagging along on family adventures, eating Krispy Kreme donuts, and sharing lots of laughs. He will be missed!

  • Danny and I grew up in the same household. My fondest memories are the times we spent going fishing. As time went on we grew further and further apart, and I blame myself for that.
Julie, those were some tough decisions you had to make. Danny was fortunate to have you by his side. Thank you and God bless you. If you need anything please call us.
Danny, I love you and I miss you. I’ll see you soon. Save me some of that raspberry pie.

    • Jeff thank you for saying this. the decisions were not made lightly. I’m glad you had chance to see him. and this pie must be something really good.

  • Danny and I went to high school together and he was a quite person but always made people laugh with his quick thinking wit. I have fond memories of the things we did together with my two sons as they were growing up and I will never forget how well he treated my sons when we went to special events, like professional wrestling that my sons enjoyed watching, in Columbus. With my sons being little and couldn’t see the wrestlers entering the arena Danny would reach down and take one of my sons and put him on his shoulders so they could see. This is just one example of the kindness Danny would show toward others. I am proud to call Danny my friend and I will miss him dearly. Love you Danny….
