You have our sincere sympathy and prayers in the loss of Dan. We will miss Dan, our fellow Trustee Chairman & Roadman. He was proud of the old snowplow that he fixed up and painted. He always worked to keep the roads plowed and in good repair. Jesus will probably assign him to keep the paths clear in heaven.

  • At DSCC, Dan always greeted me with a big smile and welcome “hello.” I appreciated that about him.

Thinking of and praying for your family at this time.

  • To Dale, the Mirise family and all,

Please accept my condolences at Dan’s passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. The loss of a loved one is a painful blow. Focus on the joyful times. Trust in The Lord and seek shelter from the storm in His loving arms. “Rock of ages, cleft for me.”

  • We are so saddened to hear about Danny. He was always so friendly and thoughtful. When we first moved on Trimmer Road twelve years ago, we did not have anything to plow our driveway with in the winter and Danny would come down the road and plow out anyone’s driveway who needed it. His kindness will never be forgotten and we should all pay it forward from his example. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and the months to follow.

  • Jill and Heidi, You both are in my prayers. Dan was such a terrific guy and will be missed. He lived simply by always “just doing what is right!” -this world would be a better place if more individudals did just that.

  • Jill, Heidi and Family,

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Danny was an incredible person, and we are grateful to have known him.

  • My condolences to the Mirise Family. Before I retired from DSCC last December, I worked with Dan on many testing initiatives. He was always very polite, and willing to help anyway he could. He always had a smile on his face when he greeted you. He taught me “True Position”. Dan’s True Position is with the Lord now. May he rest in peace.

  • Our most heart felt condolences to the family. Although we only knew Danny for six months, being new to the neighborhood, we became friends and he was so supportive and helpful for us. He will be truly missed. Every time I drove by the farm I always looked for him outside to blow the horn saying hello. We always had good conversations about farming, the land, and life.
