Dale E. Fick, age 92 of Wausa, Nebraska and formerly of Marion, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Wausa.

Dale, son of Charles and Emma (Mann) Fick, was born May 28, 1922, at home in Marion, Ohio. Dale graduated from Marion Harding High School. He served in the United States Army during World War II. On December 31, 1941, Dale was united in marriage to Roberta Mae Amrine at Camp Maxie, Texas. Two children were born to them, Roger and Linda.

Dale worked in school maintenance. He enjoyed woodworking in his younger days. At the age of 80, he moved from Ohio to Nebraska to be closer to family. Dale was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church in Wausa, Nebraska, and was well known for helping others.

Dale is survived by his two children, Roger Fick of Centenial, Colorado, and Linda Murdock of Wausa, Nebraska; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta.

Funeral services for Dale Fick, age 92, of Wausa, Nebraska will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Evangelical Covenant Church in Wausa. Reverend Matt Norlen will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be held privately in Marion Cemetery in Marion, Ohio.
