LEXINGTON: Daisy E. Tuttle, 73, of Mill Run Road, Lexington, died Sunday afternoon January 4, 2004 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a short illness.

She was born March 7, 1930 in Reynoldsville, West Virginia to Delbert and Dora (Taylor) Campbell, and was graduated from Victory High School in 1947.

A homemaker, Daisy moved to the Lexington area over 50 years ago from Reynoldsville.

An avid reader, Daisy’s life revolved around her family, as she was a loving mother and devoted and gentle grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter Sondra K. Tuttle of Bellville; four sons and three daughters-in-law Daniel E. and Lynn Lakey of Lexington, Ronald C. and Cecilia Tuttle of Shelby, Roger D. Tuttle of Lexington, and Raymond L. and Sherry Tuttle of Bellville; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law Deanna and Ron Hufford of Wilsonburg, West Virginia, two brothers and a sister-in-law Delbert “Buzz” Campbell of Fairmont, West Virginia, and Blaine and Patty Campbell of Phoenix, Arizona; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Junior Tuttle on May 6, 1997; and two brothers Dale and Dana Campbell.

The family will receive friends today, Tuesday, January 6, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions to the Mansfield-Richland County Public Library may be made at the funeral home.
