Cynthia Lee “Cyndi” Keil, age 49 of Delaware departed this life Thursday, June 18, 2009.

She was born on January 22, 1960 in Los Angeles, California and had been a lifelong resident of Delaware. A graduate of Delaware Hayes High School in 1978, she earned a business degree from Columbus State University. Cyndi formerly worked as a nurse’s aid for Wintersong Care Center and most recently as a customer service representative for Goodwill Industries.

A member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher, she enjoyed crocheting. An avid reader of romance and horror novels, she also dabbled in writing short stories. She collected mini tea sets and porcelain dolls. Always humorous and with motherly qualities, she mentored the young girls of her neighborhood. She will be remembered for her love of family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survived by her husband: Brad Keil, children: Andrea (Brian) Niro of Macedonia, Seth, Jared (Mitzi), Josh, Caleb Cooper, and Johnmark Keil all of Delaware, 8 Grandchildren: Elijah, Jacob, Devonte, Ruby, Gabrielle, McKenzie, Isaiah, Kegan, Father and Step-mother: Andrew ( Hazel) Terry, Sisters: Danielle Terry, Knee C Williams, Kim Williams, Bonnie (Herbert) White all of Columbus, Brothers: Leroy Williams of Delaware, Tim (Gia) Williams of Columbus, special friends: Louis Chase and Kenny Cooper.

Preceded in death by her mother: Carol (Fleming) Terry, sister: Michelle Terry, and infant daughters: Sara, Laurel, and Katlin.

Friends may call Tuesday 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St. (SR 36), Delaware where services will follow Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
