Clinton Michael Daniels “Mike” age 56, of Delaware, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his residence.

He was born February 1, 1957, in Columbus, to the late Hayward L. Daniels and Lois “Rice” Smith. Mike attended Westerville High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp. He married the love of his life, Brenda M. Wells, in 1987.

Mike enjoyed Fantasy Football and playing online Pogo games. An avid Cowboys and OSU Buckeyes football fan, Mike loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. A family man, he was happiest spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Described as a jovial man, Mike had a positive outlook on life and was a true jokester even during his illness. He often burst out in song, recalling obscure melodies of his youth and was best known for terrorizing the neighborhood on his scooter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda M. (Wells) Daniels; sons, Bryan (Leslie) Daniels of Sunbury; Mike (Jessica) Daniels, Jr. of Worthington; Justin Daniels of Delaware; daughter, Amanda (Jay) Moyer of Westerville; brothers, Robert Daniels of Columbus; Ronald (Sara) Smith of Delaware; sister, Robyn (Bill) Bode of Laurelville; eight grandchildren: Brandon, Jakob, Cynthia, Jackson, Zoe, Brooklynn, Christopher and Karletta; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Robert Smith and his sister, Kathleen Houser.

Friends may call 5 – 8 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware, where funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 26, 2013 with Pastor Rick Bean officiating. Interment will follow in Cheshire Cemetery with military honors rendered by the Delaware County Veterans Association.
