Clara Stanfield, 84, of Galion, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Born April 9, 1931 in Alleghany County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Claire and Anna (Shultze) Todd. She married Clayton Doyle Stanfield in 1963 and he preceded her in death January 28, 2014.

Clara attended Community Christian Church in Galion and enjoyed golf, travel and spending time with her family. She was a good hearted lady who would give anyone the shirt off her back.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Michael (Kim) Jenne of Galion with whom she made her home; step-son and wife Orval A. and Cathy Stanfield of Pomaria, South Carolina; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; brothers-in-law Kenneth Wayne and Janet Stanfield of Bradenton, Florida, Howard Stanfield of Willard and Paul McDowell of Galion and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Robert Bell; brothers Claire Todd, Richard Todd, Elmer Todd, and William Todd and sisters, Henrietta Ingram, Elsie McDowell, Anna Jane Smith and Violet Tanner.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Iberia Cemetery with Dr. Dan Turner officiating.
