Christopher Tyler Tinch, 23, of rural Galion, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013 at Galion Community Hospital after a sudden illness.

Born Dec. 1, 1989 in Hahn AFB, West Germany, he was the son of Larry Scott Tinch of Galion and Kendra K. Phares Chapman of Florida.

Chris graduated from Ontario High School in 2008 and belonged to Southview Baptist Church. He was an avid video gamer and enjoyed hanging out with his family, especially his best friend, his Dad.

Surviving are his parents, Larry Scott Tinch, with whom he made his home; his mother, Kendra K. Phares Chapman of Florida; his sister, Correy Tinch of Virginia; a half-sister, Haley Chapman of Florida; his paternal grandparents, Bernard and Judy Tinch of Galion and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion where services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Monty Trammel officiating.
