Brandon P. Coppock, age 23, of Mount Gilead, died on Thursday morning, May 31, 2007, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, on February 8, 1984, the son of Deidra (Coppock) Foster of Mount Gilead and Timothy Dobbins of Jackson.

A carpenter by trade, Brandon helped build and finish houses “from the ground up.”

An outdoorsman, Brandon lived to hunt, fish, golf, and snowboard. In April, he and his friends took a memorable trip to Virginia to snowboard at Snowshoe Mountain. Brandon loved all the time he spent with his friends.

With his “Ernie laugh” and “cheesy smile,” he will forever be remembered for his unique character. A selfless guy, Brandon was always laid back and fun to be around.

In addition to his parents, he will be missed by his sisters: Kara (Scott Main) Foster of Mount Gilead, and Katie Dobbins of Jackson; brothers: Zachary Foster of Mount Gilead, and Morgan Dobbins of Jackson; niece: Kierra Main, of Mount Gilead; maternal grandmother: Karen Coppock & Carroll “Pete” Roach; paternal grandparents: Ann & Carl Dobbins, both of Jackson; step-father: Russell Foster of Mount Gilead; step-mother: Beth Dobbins of Jackson; aunts and uncles: Kristen (Mike) Casto, Shawn Roach, Josh Roach, and Kelli Coppock, all four of Jackson; girlfriend: Ashley Trammell of Cardington; and countless close friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather: Paul Coppock.

The family will greet friends on Monday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, 76 S. Main St., Mount Gilead, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Ervin officiating. Burial will follow in Rivercliff Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
