Betty Mae Neff of Ostrander, Ohio was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Grady Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family and friends following a courageous battle with cancer.
Betty was born June 6, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Martin and Charlotte Tolle.
She loved decorating for Christmas and also enjoyed gardening, camping, and traveling. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved best friend and companion, Gene Mai with whom she shared many years of joy; sisters, Margaret (Robert) Vornberg, Patricia (Jack) Connelly, Charlotte (Ron) Julifs; sister-in-laws, Debbie and Mary Tolle; sons, Jerry Howell, Patrick (Rhoda) Howell, and Jeff (Amber) Frye; daughters, Kathy (Jerry) Rose and Sherry (John) Butler; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren that she adored; many nieces and nephews. Betty’s cherished extended family include Jeff (Michelle) Tolle and Gene’s children, Cindy (Kyle) Loso, Becky (Patrick) Schremp, Ron (Heather) Mai, Danny Mai, and Gene’s 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her brothers Donald, Marty, James, and Patrick Tolle and her granddaughter Brittany Howell.
She will be missed dearly.
The family will receive friends on Thursday December 12th from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. Burial will follow in Kingwood Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will then host a reception in the Snyder Rodman Community Room.
