  • Carol and I were cousins and close friends from our days in the church nursery in 1940. I could write a book on our years together, times of so much fun, laughter, and all that goes into the teen-age years of the 50’s. We sang duets in church, played and marched in the Mt. Vernon High School Marching Band, shared hamburgers and french fries at the Point. We shared music interests, church life, friends, and so much more. My life was richer for Carol’s presence in it. I will always remember our years together. I am sad that we did not have the opportunity to sit and chat before she left us. I will look forward to seeing her again when we share eternal life with our Lord and Savior.

Davie and Gale, I send my condolences and pray for God’s comfort in these difficult days of missing her!
