Barbara Milligan, age 66 of Galena passed away at home Friday, March 09, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 12, 1951 in Columbus to the late Carl and Carol (Mayberry) Duffey. After graduating from Buckeye Valley High School in 1970, she attended DeVry and Columbus State earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

First and foremost a wife, mother, and grandmother she also worked as a computer technician with Sterling Commerce. A spiritualist, she was full of energy, selfless and determined. She collected Boyd Bears. She was lovingly stubborn, always positive and thoughtful and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survived by her beloved husband of almost 46 years Wayne; sons: Christopher “Chris” of Delaware, Dennis (Sarah) of New Mexico, Jonathan “Jay” (Deidre) of Delaware, and Benjamin “Ben” Milligan Florida, 5 treasured grandchildren: McKenzie, Nova, Colin, Sydney, Owen, sisters: Jennifer Geary, Holly Chase, Jacqueline Moore, and brothers: Mark and Jeff Duffey.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Steven Duffey.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015 and one hour prior to the 2:00 pm Friday services celebrating her life also at the funeral home, where Pastor Jeff Acker will officiate. Burial will follow in Radnor Cemetery.
