Austin Pfeiffer

September 22, 1997 ‒ September 20, 2020

Mansfield, Ohio

MANSFIELD: To say that Austin enjoyed being outdoors would be an understatement. He would jump at any chance to be outside in God’s creation. Be it hunting, trapping, or fishing, he looked for any opportunity to get outside. A selfless, patient, caring person, Austin was always considerate and respectful of others.

Austin Levi Pfeiffer passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020. He was 22.

He was born September 22, 1997, in Mansfield to parents Henry & Diane (Sauder) Pfeiffer. He graduated from high school with the class of 2015. He Married Ryleigh (Sloan) Pfeiffer on October 20, 2018.

He loved God! His faith was such that he looked forward to going to church each week. On December 1, 2019, he was especially excited because he was going to be baptized. Not only that, but he was also going to have the special blessing of being able to turn around and be the one to baptize his bride Ryleigh the same day.

His work ethic was one to be admired as he worked very hard at whatever job was put before him. He never liked idle time. From a young age he was fearless and enjoyed climbing trees which explained why he enjoyed his work so much as an arborist at Dolce’s Tree Service.

His family was very important to him! He took care of his family and enjoyed every moment he got with them. From teasing his sisters, to working on cars with his dad and brother, or hiking with his wife, any time with family was special to Austin.

He was a great man whose life and legacy will live on in those who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Ryleigh Pfeiffer; parents Henry & Diane Pfeiffer; siblings Ezekiel, Autumn, Naomi, Sicilia, Natasha, Sierra, Tatiana and Eliana; grandparents Bill & Becky Sauder, John & Zuzanna Pfeiffer, great-grandfather Kenneth Sauder; in-laws Stacy & Shannon Sloan, Degan and Haydon and Randa Schilling.

He was preceded in death by a sister Anna.

His family will receive friends Monday, October 5, 2020 from 1-7 pm at Storyside Church where a funeral service honoring his life will be held Tuesday beginning at 11am. Pastor Richard Stedman will officiate.

Ryleigh encourages contributions in Austin’s memory be made to Snyder Funeral Home. Please bring any monetary gifts to his services or checks may be mailed to: Snyder Funeral Home, P.O. Box 3085 Mansfield, Ohio 44904.
