  • I will always have warm heart felt memories when I think of you and your smile. There was a time at Mom and dads when I was having a rough spell….I have carried our talk that day throughout my life. Your wisdom got me through tough times. I love you uncle Junior. My condolences are with Shawna and her family ..CeAnn and her family …and Jeri and her family . Fly high Junior…Shirley and Chuck are waiting no more.

  • Junior you came into my life when I was 12 years old and was the brother I didn’t have. I will miss our special talks, your smile, and always wish I could see you one more time. The love you had for me and my family are the memories I will always cherish. You are the best! Until we meet again and we will – I promise you that!!!!

  • I will miss you Uncle Junior. You & Aunt Shirley were really good to our family. You & Shirley stayed with mom, dad, Shannon, Sandy & Randi Marlene the whole day during my parathyroidectomy surgery at James Cancer. You & Shirley were there when we got the news from mom’s cardiologist that they thought she wouldn’t make it, and you were there everyday at the hospital. You were also there for dad when he was in the hospital and Shannon also! I’m so glad I went with mom, dad & Shannon to visit with you about a month ago. When we were leaving, you gave me a hug and you were afraid to hug me too hard due to me just having a mastectomy. You & Shirley were the most caring Aunt & Uncle and I love you! I know you are in Heaven now with Aunt Shirley & Chuck. RIP Uncle Junior.

  • Austin was a very supportive elder in my father’s ministry. Loved he and Shirley! At Doyt’s funeral he said Doyt always told him “a funeral was the last gift someone gives their family and friends”. May the family enjoy the gift of each other as they honor and celebrate Austin’s life. He was such a good man!

  • Austin may you rest in the loving and comforting arms of Jesus now. I am praying for your family during this difficult time. I will always remember the things you taught for so many years from the Bible showing us the love that God has for us. RIP.

  • My Heart goes out to the family, Austin has certainly lived his dash! He was a very compassionate and very giving and loving man. Although he will be forever in many hearts and will never be forgotten, he will be sadly missed here on earth! Much love and Prayers to family.

    Love Cindy S.

The Incarnation of the Word of Life

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of Life.

2 The Life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the Eternal Life, which was with the Heavenly Father and has appeared to us.

3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have Fellowship with us. And our Fellowship is with the Heavenly Father and with his Son, Jesus the Christ Messiah.

  • Austin gave me my first summer job, a sense of community, and supported in ministry and reaching out to people…

I am deeply saddened by his passing but I know he is home.

Prayers to the Allen family, friends, and my dear 1st church family at Centerburg Church of Christ

  • My heart goes out to you and Shawna. It’s funny how you cannot be around a person for so many years and still feel a deep loss over their passing. I will always remember spending the night with you and in the mornings around 3 AM ( or so it seemed to me )your dad would be up getting ready for work. He was a great man, he was a kind man. May God give you his peace in this time
