Anthony Serrino, age 91, of Fredericktown, OH formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at his home. He was born in Albany, New York, a son of the late Joseph and Tindi Serrino.

Anthony was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church in Amherst, NY. He was a Navy veteran of W.W.II. Anthony was President and Founder of Anthony’s Collision and Auto Glass in Buffalo, NY. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to the Buffalo Bill’s games.

Anthony is survived by his sons, Michael (Jeanine) Serrino, of Knoxville, TN, Dave (Susi) Serrino of Fredericktown, OH, and Peter (Eula) Serrino of Spencerport, NY; and a daughter, Susan Houston of San Rafael, CA; two grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Serrino of Albany, NY; and a sister, Angie Agresti of Advance, NC.

Anthony was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice (Wojciechowski) Serrino on September 27, 2010; his parents; a daughter, Patricia Lusk; a brother, Andrew Serrino; and a sister, Sue McGraw.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High St., Mount Vernon, OH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon with Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Mount Vernon with military honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the Salvation Army or the charity of one’s choice.
