Angela D. “Angie” O’Harra, 43, of Delaware, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence with her loving family at her side.

Angela was born on January 30, 1978 in Delaware, daughter of Ronald G. and Gay L. (Merriman) O’Harra of Delaware.  Angela loved to be outside and especially enjoyed camping with the family.  She loved listening to music, rock-n-roll being her favorite.  She always enjoyed going to the Casino with the family.  Angela’s fondest memories were the time that she spent with her family and her dog named “Angel.”

Angela is survived by her parents, Ronald and Gay (Merriman) O’Harra of Delaware; brother, Ron “R.J.” (Aime) O’Harra of Summerland Key, Florida; nephew, Aidan O’Harra; Maternal Grandfather, Richard Merriman of Ostrander; Paternal Grandmother, Patricia Colley of Delaware; Paternal Grandfather, Mike O’Harra of Lancaster, OH; uncles, Ken (Maggie) Garrison of Delaware, Ray Merriman of Columbus, Mike Estes of Delaware and Melvin (Kathy) Powell of Delaware; aunts, Kim Estes of Delaware and Beckie Merriman of Ostrander; numerous cousins and second cousins; and her best friends, Shelly (Don) Parker and Sherry (Steve) Shumate.

Angela was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother, Jean Merriman; Paternal Great Grandparents, Joe (Edna) Mellen; Maternal Great Grandparents, Helen and Tim Souder and Kenneth and Lee Arnold; Grandmother, Diane O’Harra; Grandfather, Jay Colley; and aunts, Cindy (Tom) Botts and Kathy Mollet.

A service to celebrate Angela’s life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Delaware County, 4920 )H-37, Delaware, Ohio 43015 or to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Children’s Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43205.

    I was heartbroken to hear of Angie’s passing. I’m so glad I saw her at Easter dinner.
    Brody was sad to hear as well, and sends his condolences, he has so many memories of her being there all the time when he’d go over to granny’s when he was little.
