Glenn C. Wolfe

Glenn C. Wolfe, age 68, of Loudonville died unexpectedly Wednesday night, July 19, 2017.
He was born on October 19, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio the son of John “Johnny Bob” and Lucille (Johnson) Wolfe.
Glenn was a 1968 graduate of Big Walnut High School and worked for Wetzler Concrete Construction as a finisher for nearly 20 years.
He was an active member of the October Hills Campgrounds where he has lived year-round for roughly 20 years. In fact, he was currently running for Trustee of the campground. He enjoyed the community within the campground, playing cards and shuffleboard with the many friends he made through the years.
As a younger man he’d go fishing, bowling, and play softball. Any outdoor activity was agreeable to Glenn.
Glenn recently began attending Condit Presbyterian Church with his fiancé Judy.
He will be missed by his mother Lucille of Sunbury; son Glenn Charles “Charlie” Wolfe II; step-son Danny Dahoda of Westerville; brothers Rob and his wife Elaine of Condit, Dale and his wife Christina of Sunbury; sister Sharon Croushore and her husband Bob of Croton; fiancé Judy Watts of Condit; her children Shelli and Steve Evans and Robert and Kate Watts, and their daughter Emma; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and his canine companions Sammy, Sassy, and Sissy.
In addition to his wife Judith and his father John he was preceded in death by his daughter Tiffany Wolfe at 9 months old, and his brother Keith.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 5 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074 with Rev. Annie Melick officiating. Friends may call on the family from 3 PM until the time of the service. Following the service everyone is invited to Condit Presbyterian church for a time of food and fellowship.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Humane Society or Diabetes Association.
