Bobbie Jean Trusler, 81, of Columbus, OH passed away at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, November 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Devore-Snyder Funeral Home with Cody Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Northlawn Memory Gardens in Westerville, OH. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

A native of Richlands, VA she was born March 31, 1938 the daughter of the late Herman and Myrtle Byrd. Bobbie was an accounting clerk for Ohio State University. She retired in 2001 after working 31 years for the company.  Bobbie enjoyed gardening, traveling, and reading. She loved to cook and bake.  Bobbie’s proudest achievement was her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughters: Debra Brown and Ruth Henson; her son: Melvin Trusler; and her son-in-law: Thomas Brown.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years: Robert Trusler; her son: Rick (Marlene) Adair of Ocoee, FL and his children: Amy, Jackie, Jessica, and Nina; her son: John (Dawn) Adair of Lewis Center, OH and his children: Abigail, Gabrielle, Tanner, Rachel, and Alan, David, and Evan; her son: Joe Trusler of Columbus, OH; her son Danny (Connie) Trusler of Columbus, OH; her daughter: Carol (Scott) Peifer of Sunbury, OH and their daughter: Ashley; her daughter: Lisa (Mike) Herb of Pataskala, OH and her children: Jeff and Stacy; her late daughter, Debra (Thomas) Brown’s children:  Christina (John), Theresa, Carol, Rachel (John), Thomas (Carrie), and Angela (Lorenzo); her brother: Ron (Alice) Byrd of Tallahassee, FL; her sister: Jan (John) Copenhaven of Urbana, OH; and her 39 great grandchildren.
