Yvonne Garrett, age 82, of Fredericktown passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born on July 16, 1936 in Columbia, KY to the late Coy and Ruth (Burton) Knight.  Yvonne was a member of the Fredericktown Garden Club and also Fredericktown Church of God.

She is survived by her daughters, Vonda (Jim) Gerbasi, Pamela (Dave) Hackedorn; her sons, Michael (Sharon) Garrett, Gilbert Garrett; nine grandchildren, Jason Hackedorn, Bryan (Amy Gosser) Hackedorn, Bradley Hackedorn, Jessie (Zach) Smith, Kaitlynn Garrett, Holly (Jason) Skelly, Heather (Jeff) Caisse, Marissa Burch and Jeremiah Burch; five great grandchildren; her sisters Joyce Combs, Carol Kincaid, and Lillian (Paul) Coomer; and her canine companion Gemma.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband Broadus Garrett and her brother Vernon Knight.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 5-7PM at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown.  A service will be held on Friday, at the funeral home, beginning at 10AM with Pastor Richard Prater officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fredericktown E.M.S, 139 Columbus Rd, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019.
