Yuki C. Mosier

BELLVILLE: Yuki C. Mosier, 72, of State Route 97, Bellville, died Friday, September 28, 2007 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born August 25, 1935 in Okinawa, Japan.
Yuki made the decision to leave her homeland and move to the United States in 1960. She made her permanent residence in Bellville in 1989.
She worked at Designed Metal Products, Inc. the past 13 years until she became ill and retired this past June.
Yuki was a gifted woman who took great pride in her family. She loved to sew and crochet. She was a skilled musician playing both the guitar and harmonica. Her favorite musician from the 1950s and 1960s was Fats Domino. Though Yuki liked to rock and roll she also enjoyed the classic hymns; her favorite was Amazing Grace.
Occasionally, she also liked to join her son and his family Sunday mornings for church at North Bend Church of the Brethren in Danville.
Yuki is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Edwin and Tina Mosier of Fredericktown, a daughter Wyona Mosier of Mansfield, and a son Daniel Mosier of Mansfield, four grandchildren Michael Mosier, Joangela Mosier, Jessica Mosier, and Amanda Mosier.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters in Japan.
Friends may call Monday, October 1, 2007 from 6-8 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 am. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate, and burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
