Winfield “Wilbur” Madison, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the Whispering Hills Care Center in Mount Vernon, Ohio.  He was born on September 8, 1952 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Louis and Florence (Callahan) Madison.

Wilbur enjoyed fishing in his free time.  He loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns football games.  Wilbur enjoyed hanging out with friends and having fun, but most of all he loved being around his family.

He is survived by his step siblings, Mary Shaw, Charlie (Sharon) Shepard, Rich Shepard, Wilma Madison, Tina (Steve) Everwine; nieces and nephews, Jerad, Jason, Michelle and Bubba Shaw.

Along with his parents, Wilbur is preceded in death by brothers, William and Cowboy Madison and a baby sister.

A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.

The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Winfield “Wilbur” Madison.

His smile was just the best!! you can’t help but to have your favorites in a job like this they grab your heart strings and hold on tight.I will miss you tremendously to walk by your room and hear animal sounds will be missed my friend..
