Grammy Jean was co -founder of Sargent Enterprises, Inc. along with her loving husband Sherman. Throughout their marriage, love grew a bond that they could not have been prouder of that was passed down to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No greater gift could have been received. This love and gift of pulling together for the greater good of all continues today.

Grammy Jean loved her family tremendously and was dedicated to them. She loved large family gatherings, painting, working puzzles, canning, and crafts. • “Mom” had so many wonderful qualities that it is hard to pin down just a few words to say. What comes to mind right now is that her love for everyone, especially for her family, presented itself to me as an incomparable tenacity that drove her to accomplish more than anyone would ever expect of anyone else. Simply put, she had — and gave — a love that sticks, a love that will not end, and a love that played itself out in her actions every day. I know she will be missed, and compared to most, I hardly knew her, but I know that I will miss her — a lot.

  • This is a tremendous loss. What a fine lady. Family was always #1 to her. It’s been an honor to have known both Wilma and Sarge. My girls and I have had some very great memories of them both. My condolences to the Sargent family.
