Willis “Bill” Seese

Willis “Bill” Alfred Seese, 88 of Delaware entered into rest on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 23, 1930 to the late Ross and Anna Seese, of Westerville. Veteran of the US Air Force Bill served during the Korean Conflict. Bill made a living working construction at Kirkham Building Systems for over 45 years. Bill was widely known for his craftsmanship and woodworking skills and his love of classic cars. Over his life he owned a 1965 Ford Falcon Wagon, a 1934 Lincoln Zephyr, and his beloved 1947 Cub Cadet Farmall tractor. Bill loved classic cars so much that he joined the Delaware Vintage Car Club to be around other people who shared his passion. While Bill enjoyed wood working and old cars the true love of his life was his wife of 67 years, Mary Lou and his 5 children who will miss him dearly.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers, Ross, Harold, and Bob Seese and his sister, Dorothy Ellen.
Those remaining to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Lou, son, Jeff (Rita) Seese, of Westerville, daughters, Pam (Duane) Daye, of Richwood, Debbie Pendleton, of Delaware, Vicki Smith, of Dublin, Teri (Steven) Rosnagle, of Columbus, a sister, Patricia (Ray) Saunders of Buckeye Lake, grandchildren, Craig (Angel) Pendleton, John (Sue) Daye, Roger (Tara) Daye, Nicole (Shawn) Jones, Amanda (Ryan) Powell, Ashley (Wade) Pennington, Chelsey Smith, Derek Montenaro, Dustin (Kara) Montenaro, Troy, Tyler and Travis Seese, a legacy of 18 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, and his canine companion, Tucker.
The family would like to thank Dr.K, 3rd floor nursing staff & Hospice at Grady Memorial for their excellent care of Bill.
Well, as dad always said: “Let’s get this show on the road”, the family will receive friends on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. Delaware, OH 43015. Services honoring Bill will be held at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center the next day, Friday, November 16, 2018 at 12 pm with family receiving visitors one hour prior at 11:00am, Pastor Francis C. Robinson officiating with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
