William S. Ulery, age 81, of Howard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born on August 3, 1936 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Clyde and Grace (Strang) Ulery.

Bill owned and operated the Strang Glass Shop for over 60 years in Mount Vernon. He was an active member of the Aladdin Shriners – Shrine Clubs – Baldwin of Mt. Vernon, Mount Zion Lodge #9 F&AM, Knox Chapter # 236 Order of the Eastern Star, Past Worthy Patron. Bill graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1954 and joined the United States Army in 1955, serving his country proudly.  He was also in the Army Reserves and National Guard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Grimm) Ulery; sons, Jeff (Andrea) Ulery, Dean (Karen) Underwood; daughter, Kathy Ulery; grandchildren, Candace, Jordan, Cory, and Jamie; several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy (Paul) Doup; daughter, Rebecca Ulery; uncles, Fay Strang, John Ulery; nieces, Barb (Doup) Mowery and Diane (Doup) Rutherford.
