William Russell “Bill” Solomon III, age 52 of Marion, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at his home.

Bill was born February 24, 1969, the son of the late William Russell II and Mourine (Bailey) Solomon.

Bill enjoyed car rides with friends and family. He spent his spare time fishing, hunting, and frog gigging.

He is survived by his lifelong partner Tammy Shockey; children: Rebecca Shockey, John Shockey, Marie Solomon, Sarah Solomon (Peyton Reinhart), and William Solomon IV; step-children: Leslie (Mike Moore) Shockey, and Megan Collins; grandchildren: Dean, Isabelle, Joseph, Kiezer, and Baby R. on the way; step-grandchildren: Rylan, Zyler, Madison, Tucker; three surviving sisters; and numerous friends, family, nieces, and nephews.

Services are pending.

The family appreciates any contributions be made directly to the Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center St., Marion to assist in honoring Bill.
