William Norman “Bill” Faux, 69, of Galion, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at Village Care Center in Galion, after a short illness.

Born Jan. 1, 1940 in Danville, Penn., he was the son of the late Samuel Faux and Mae Keffer Faux.

He was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Galion and he previously worked in construction where he built warehouses. Bill enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by one son, David Faux; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Samuel E. and Lois Faux, Cam Faux, and John Faux, three sisters, Charlotte Hoffman, of Milton, Penn., Edna and Paul Erich, of Danville, Penn. and Catherine Myers, of Milton, Penn.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at Grace Brethren Church, 1055 Winchester Road, Galion with Pastor Jeff Pennington officiating.
