William Harry “Bud” Vincent Sr., 88, of Pataskala died Thursday evening at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus. He was born February 25, 1920 in Columbus, Ohio to Asa R. and Edna M. (Wallace) Vincent. He was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II and a retired supervisor/section chief for Western Electric Company in Columbus. He was a member of the Sunrise Masonic Lodge of Westerville, Kilbourne United Methodist Church, and a proud member of the WAGGLE Golf Group. He is survived by 6 sons, William (Helen) Vincent Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri, G. Daniel (Rose) Sanders of Granville, Robert F. Vincent of Dublin, David A. (Lori) Sanders of Granville, Kevin L. (Jules) Sanders of Denver, Colorado, and Jon Paul (Heather) Vincent of Pataskala; daughter, Charlotte A. Stygler of Newark; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Vincent of Galena; 3 sisters, Alberta Ferris of Gahanna, Donna Jean Mara and Sally Dawson of Westerville. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorine on February 7, 2001, brother Robert Vincent, and a son-in-law Don Stygler. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 20th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware and where funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 21st at 11:00 am with Rev. Sonja Bender officiating. The family will then host a reception in the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home Community Room. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at the Pataskala Cemetery with military honors conducted by members of the US Army.
