William E. Milum, age 77 of Delaware died Saturday, November 24, 2001 at the Columbus Alzheimers Care Center.

He was born on Dec. 7, 1923 in Lawshe, Ohio to the late Scott and Sadie Jackson Milum. Lifelong area resident, retired as a inspector for Ranco Controls, Plain City, after 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, ice fishing, bowling.

Survived by his wife of 46 years: Galena (Schafer) Milum, Daughters: Sally Harris of Westerville, Beverly Milum of Worthington, JoAnn Brodnax of Worthington, Georgia Ewing of Ostrander, Rosemary Lewis of Blue Creek, 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren, Brothers: Scott Milum Jr. of Delaware, Robert Milum of Upper Sandusky, Cecil & Charles “Tom” Milum of Delaware, Sisters: Bertha Mae Smith of Columbus, Murl Ullman of Rittman.

Preceded in death by Sisters: Vada Williams, Elsie Morgan, Violet Milum.

Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m., lead by his brother Cecil Milum. Interment will follow in Greenmound Cemetery, Kilbourne.
