William “Bill” Miller, 72, of Galion passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Ohio Health MedCentral in Mansfield.

Born April 20, 1944 in Marion, he was the son of Albert and Gertrude (Ruth) Miller.

He was a graduate of Cardington High School and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bill owned and operated K & B Products in Galion and later drove truck, a job he enjoyed. He was a member of the VFW Post 4329 of Galion, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 303 of Galion and active board member of the Galion AMVETS Polk Township Post 1979, where he often volunteered for the Kids Christmas Program. Bill was a story teller and liked to fish at Lake Erie, hunt and especially enjoyed being with his granddaughter and watching her in her activities.

He is survived by daughter Cindy (Donnie) Wallis of Galion and son Jim (Laura) Miller of Galion and granddaughter Bri Wallis.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Bob Miller and Carl Miller and his special aunt, Bertha Heil.

A service celebrating his life will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 303, 520 South Market Street Galion, Ohio, 44833. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force.

Memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS Kids Christmas Program in care of the funeral home.
