Mount Gilead, Ohio

William “Bill” Cochran, Sr., age 70, of Mount Gilead, died Friday morning, November 6, 2009, at the Marion General Hospital following a courageous battle against cancer.

On July 22, 1939, Bill was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, the son of the late Millard and Cynthia (Little) Cochran.

Bill will be dearly missed by his wife, Judy (Deal) Cochran, of Mount Gilead, whom he married on July 22, 1999; two sons: William “Bill” Cochran Jr., of Mount Gilead, and Michael Cochran of Marion; a daughter, Rose, of Marion; two grandchildren; one brother, Birges Cochran; and two sisters: Ella Lester, and Sara Grey.

Including his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Alvin Cochran; four brothers; and five sisters.

Per Bill’s request, services will not be observed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Snyder Funeral Homes of Mount Gilead.
