Willard L. Frazier, 95, of Findlay, Ohio died Wednesday morning June 27, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Bonanza, Kentucky on January 14, 1912, the son of the late Lilburn H. and Carolyn Quals Frazier.
After serving his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II he moved to Morrow County in 1948 from Tazwell County, Virginia.
In 1953 he began working for Empire Steel in Mansfield, a career which lasted 21 years until his retirement in 1974. Willard was a proud member of the United Steel Workers Local #168 and the Findlay AmVets Post #21.
He is survived by a special nephew James Smith and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wives Minnie May, F. Louise Scott, and Jewell Gannaway. He was also preceded in death by brothers Bob, Rube, Luther, Will, Fred, Jim, Wade and Bruce and by sisters Millie Allen, Hattie Wright, Myrtle Whitaker, and Nettie Smith.
Services will be held on Saturday June 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, 76 South Main Street, Mount Gilead. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Memory Gardens in Lexington with full military honors provided by the V.F.W. Post #8054 and the AmVets Post #87.
