Wilfred L. Moseley, age 90, of Vernonview Dr. Mount Vernon, died at his home September 1, 2002. He was born June 11, 1912, in Aurora, Ill. The son of John and Beatrice (Smith) Moseley and had been a Mount Vernon resident for over 50 years. He had been employed as an accountant for Continental Can Corp. in Mount Vernon. Mr. Moseley was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and had served the Church as organist, vestryman and treasurer.
He is survived by his wife M. Schalmir (Kepple) Moseley, a daughter-in-law Lynda Moseley of Oakland, California, 3 sisters Clarice Panfil and Margaret Lev both of Arlington Heights, Ill. And Patricia Hamers of Copville, Washington, a sister-in-law Agnes Pardee of Mount Vernon and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Thomas Moseley, 2 brothers Herbert and John Moseley and his first wife Margaret.
The family will observe private graveside services at the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. The Dowds-Snyder funeral home assisted with arrangements.
